LifeForce Jazz & Blues Compilation
This is an album of solid jazz and blues performed by an impeccable array of musicians and with 18 tracks and an excellent sampler into the world of LifeForcejazz. The common denominator on most of the tracks is Dawan Muhammad on woodwinds and percussion, and whose inspiration and versatility has laid the foundation for these projects to get off the ground.

Dawan Muhammad first released these recordings on vinyl in the mid 70s under the title Deep Stream, and received a four star Billboard review. Now a digitally re-mastered CD with previously unreleased tracks, RFS covers many faces of jazz.

Dawan Muhammad and his all-star cast, delivers three different sessions of post-bop jazz. Recorded in 1979 and 1987, this disc features original compositions by the leader and other participating artists, with outstanding solo performances by Eddie Henderson, Johnnie Coles, Mondre Moffett, Ray Drummond and Eddie Marshall.
